Taku Furukawa becomes a Venetian gondolier, leaves the art gallery, and poles his gondola around a large park. These bizarre images are created through pixilation. Fuchu Art Museum’s Summer/Autumn 2013 Open Studio Program. The entire process, from making equipment to staging, shooting, and editing, was made public, and together with young artists, volunteers, citizens, and children the transmission of playful freedom was assembled into a single work.
