title

Soon after opening, ‘Flaming Creatures’ was banned showing. After screening movements, this film was later made in to a legendary icon of American underground film. Jack Smith did not like the way his works were dealt in a sensational way, and later shied away from making film works altogether, and eventually getting involved in live screenings attended by Smith himself. Also screened is ‘No President,’ a film that was made in timing with the 1968 presidential election.
