In ‘Memories of a Morning,’ Guerín films landscapes seen from a window daily. In one of the buildings that can be seen, a resident is seen playing the violin. When that man’s tragedy is told in interviews, viewers are able to observe the solitude, the dis-‐communication within urban cities, and the mutability of life. These stories are told in a certain light touch that could be seen in many of Guerín’s other films. ‘Two Letters for Ana,’ the film version of the installation of the observation between movies and paintings will also be shown.
