A work based on the transformation that occurs when just the motion from existing moving images is extracted and rearranged. By remixing reality, the objects that appear make me think of the inside of a container outfitted with a mixer I’ve never seen (a “Dark Mixer”). (I.H.)
　

IWASAKI Hirotoshi

Born in Ibaraki Prefecture. Artist/filmmaker. Won the Grand Prix at the 2010 Image Forum Festival with BETWEEN SHOWERS. Won the Grand Prix in the non-narrative animation category at the 2015 Netherlands Animation Film Festival. Currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts.
