MIZUE Mirai draws cells for his animations and ONO Hana illustrates landscapes for her animations. The abstraction that emerges from the micro and macro drawn by these two animators becomes an enormous mandala with an accompanying soundtrack by Twoth. (M.M. + O.H.)
　

MIZUE Mirai

He continues to present his non-narrative animation works made of cells and geometric configurations at international film festivals. His works have world premiered at the Berlinale and the Venice Film Festival. He has received an award twice at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
　

ONO Hana

Completed her master’s degree in Animation at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. Her debut work CRAZY LITTLE THING (2014) received the Walt Disney Award for Best Graduation Animation at the Ottawa International Animation Festival and the Ofuji Noburo Award at the Mainichi Film Award. Her work investigates the psychology and embodiment involved in the act of animation and depicts mental sceneries and memory.
