A surrealistic line drawing animation. No reason why, but once a man touches one’s nose, it seems like he can look into the other world through a hole in a wall. People are lining up to not a nose specialist but a nose rubbing man. From a peephole, a main character enters the other world and lines up again. WADA Atsushi

Born in 1980. Graduated from Osaka Kyoiku University. Graduated in the 28th class of the Image Forum Institute of the Moving Image. Won the IFF 2006 Encouragement Award for DAY OF NOSE. Major works: THE MECHANISM OF SPRING (2010), IN A PIG’S EYE （2010）*Selected for competition at the four major animation film festivals (Zagreb, Annecy, Hiroshima and Ottawa), and THE GREAT RABBIT （2012）* Won the Silver Bear in the Short Animation category at the Berlin International Film Festival.
