The filmmaker’s girlfriend has announced, “It’s not me, but your mother, that you want to film, isn’t it?” This piece is his rite of Passage in relation to her. Strange performances played by the filmmaker and his mother are all recorded on the 8mm film. Born 1970. Graduated from Image Forum Institute of Moving Image, and the same institute’s specialized Course. Honorable mention with I AM THE ONE TO DECIDE YOUR 1 SECOND in IFF2002 and Grand Prize in IFF 2013 with THE LAKE. His films include: LET’S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER (1992) and HODOKERU (1998).
