A legend of the port city of Yokohama. Narration full of verisimilitude. Russophile profiles emerge with a sense of realism. Vying images are gorgeously ornate like the “Khorosho” mind of the middle-aged male character. At first glance it may seem like a reckless experiment, but the structure is sturdily strung together. An outstanding work that breezily leaps over the clichés of animation.
　

YUKI Yoko

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1987. Graduated from the Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences’ Media Creation Moving Image Media Program. Submitted BARIKAN 2010 A HAPPY NEW YEAR to the 2010 Image Forum Festival. Won the Grand Prix at the 2014 Shibukaruhai.
