Wearing a loose polo-shirt on a tennis court. Chain-smoking with ice-cream in one hand. A beetle rides on her shoulder. Chizu, this young girl whose behavior is so contradictory, is very appealing. Unable to come to terms with the real world, she finds a greater sense of reality in the botanical specimens left to her by her grandfather. A living creature yet to be genderized as “woman”. Sympathizing with the vegetation of Omura City, it was inevitable that the creature would regress to monkey hood and leave this world to another place.
