Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1982. Graduated from the Tokyo Polytechnic University Faculty of the Arts Animation Course in 2010. Completed a degree in animation at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media in 2013. This work won the best student film prize at anim’est (Romania), and was selected for entry by numerous other major film festivals including the 2013 Ottawa International Animation Film Festival (Canada), and the 2013 Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France).
