Japan Tomorrow

“Japan Tomorrow” in an open competition aimed at Japanese filmmakers. From December 20th, 2013 to February 6th, 2014, 441 works were submitted from all over Japan. After two rounds of selection the field was reduced to sixteen finalists. Jury deliberations will take place during the first round of screenings in Tokyo, and the recipients of the festival’s five awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 6th.
