live video: Michaela GRILL / turntables, DIY instruments: dieb13
The live audio visual improvisation by dieb13 and Michaela Grill is an investigation into microstructures of images and sounds. Abstract textures, patterns and clusters interact with bigger structures and become tangible. The performance is a balance act between abstraction and representation. Found sounds and homemade instruments meet blurry images that only our subconscious can understand. Subtle transmutations allow the audience to move freely within a multi-layered structure. Do I hear the image or do I see the sound?
