『THE SHEPHRD’S STORY』, a work in which three movies are shot with the same structure in the three cities of Shinjuku, Ogaki, and Nagoya, brings to the surface the existence of these cities that form the background behind each of these movies, ultimately becoming an archive that records their shape. The newest work by Dairiki Takuya and Miura Takashi (IFF10 Grand Prix winner『NIKOTOKO ISLAND』、『STONE, SONG AND PETA』), in whose films humorous, intentionally stupid dialogue enjoys a strange co-existence with overwhelming visuals, is a science fiction movie that begins with the words “Miura and Dairiki came to this planet 33 years ago”.
