Shot on Super16 projected on standard ratio. The blank spaces on images shot with color negatives, monochrome negatives, and monochrome high-contrast prints flow as sound. Color negatives are made positive through cross processing. It is also an attempt to challenge the possibilities of how far I could go using whatever 16mm film I could get my hands on and developing it myself. (O.Y.)
　

OTA Yo

Experimental filmmaker/researcher. Through making movies, studies the differences between the things we actually see and what is shot by a camera and appears on the screen. Focuses in particular on the time created by movies and the time found in reality. Many of his works also involve shooting other artists or works of art. Manager and organizer of the “Study of Analogue Media” group in the Japan Society of Image and Sciences.
