Something definitely began to collapse inside of me when I pointed my DSLR camera at the world around me and began shooting moving images on. What is it that this camera is actually recording? A field note that explores the rivers of Tokyo as well as the boundaries between digital and analogue, past and present, and presence and absence. （K.H.）
　

KUROKAWA Hoshu

Born in 1954. Made his debut in 1981 with CELLULOID DESERT. With film and performance at its core, his avant-garde practice sits between visibility and invisibility. Major works include ICONOCLASM NO.1 (1999), DIASPORA SONG (2011) and BODY OF SOUL (2012).
