It has the fascination of an orthodox experimental movie. Animation through stop-motion – the changes/movements of dots on a two-dimensional plane (=spots) create illusions of three-dimensional shapes, balls, cylinders, busts, and torsos, and eventually a fusion of these illusions begins. Graduated from Tama Art University. Won the Experimental Imagination prize at IFF 1990 for SPOTS. Won the Video Originality Prize at IFF 1992 for SPOTS2. Major works include: TELEFRAME (1991), SPOTS3 (1992).
