OKI Hiroyuki’s ‘May II’ brings together footage taken in the month of May for the past 5 years into 50 minutes. OKUYAMA Jun’ichi rediscovered the optical sound recording system of the Double 8 in his film ‘Regular 8mm Optical Talkie.’ ‘Shadow of the Bleaching’ by SUZUKI Hirotada has been done by the continuous process of bleaching 8mm film. Lastly, we are screening ‘Last Angel,’ the long waited new work by ITO Takashi. The adventurous spirit takes us to the outer limits of filmmaking.
