ABE Shun / 2015 / digital / color / 11min.
A formless creature portrayed through a rough, hand- drawn animation is projected into the middle of everyday life. A strange reality is created by the innocent conversation between the artist and his mother. The work’s analogue techniques, which seem to be mocking high-tech imagery like projection mapping, sharply call into question the nature of what is created by the media devices all around us.
