Instructional texts on filmmaking mention that it is most natural for the camera to pan from left to right. In BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN, the Cossack soldiers walk down the stairs from left to right and shoot their guns from left to right. For some reason, all my diseases have also began from left side and moved towards the right. I decided for my camera to pan right to left. Is this unnatural? (H.S.)
