Using optical technology, this work steps right into the creative milieu of 1920s Europe, from its art and costume to its music and even psycho-analytic content. In addition to the numerous forms of quotation and reference, the glimpses of modern scenery leave a strong impression. Are the quietly rising crane and the round clock metaphors for the subject matter? A study of the body collaged amidst distant and recent memories of moving images.

orn in Tokyo in 1981. Dropped out of the high school attached to Japan Women’s University, graduated the 26th class of Image Forum Institute of the Moving Image. Continues to create moving images and photographic works of “self-portraiture.” Mother of two children.
